The course

Your first real diving certification

On the Junior Open Water Diver you learn exactly what adults learn: the same theory, the same skills, the same exam. You just have more time for each skill, you are in a small group — and you don’t dive quite as deep.

First comes the theory: five exciting chapters about how diving works. You can read them with us or online at home beforehand. And then it’s into the sea — four dives on the reef, where you practise each skill until it feels really easy.

At the end you get a certification that never expires and is valid at every dive centre in the world. When you turn 15, it automatically becomes an Open Water Diver — with no new exam.

How your course runs

Three to four days full of adventure

1

📘 Day 1 — theory & water test

Five theory chapters with quizzes, plus your swim test: a 200-metre swim and 10 minutes of treading water. No time pressure — all that matters is that you do it.

2

🐠 Day 2 — your first dives

Off to the reef! You learn how to breathe properly, clear your mask and float weightlessly — each skill as often as it takes. And in between there is time to marvel. Usually the day you meet your first clownfish.

3

🏅 Day 3 — exam & certification

Dives three and four, plus the short written exam. Then you get your certification and your logbook — and you are officially allowed to dive!
