Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no-decompression time. That means more time underwater — and the benefit grows on repetitive dives, which is exactly what a day on our boat consists of.
It is the most popular specialty PADI offers, and the one that changes the most about an ordinary diving day for the least amount of training.
What You Learn
How enriched air differs from air and what that means for your body, how to analyse the oxygen content of your own tank and log it, how to set a dive computer for nitrox, and how to manage the maximum operating depth that comes with a richer mix.
The theory can be done through PADI eLearning before you arrive, which keeps the day itself short.
Who It Suits
Any certified Open Water Diver from 12 years up. It pairs particularly well with the Deep Diver specialty, and with any week where you plan to dive twice a day, every day.
Transfer. For hotels inside Hurghada, transfer to and from your hotel is free of charge. For hotels in Makadi Bay, Soma Bay, Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna there is a surcharge of €20 per day per car. Rental equipment, where it is not already included, is €15 per day and person.
