 Hi there Ahmed (&Nasser!)

How are you?  We've been meaning to email you but it's been so busy since we've been back.  After leaving Harghada we had a nice time cruising the Nile - seeing the Luxor temples, Valley of the kings&queens, Abu Simbel and the other sites.

Thank you for looking out for us on the day of our departure and helping us to arrange our taxi to Luxor.  After all the waiting he eventually arrived and gave us a nice journey through the desert.

We are missing you!  Please see the attached pictures.  We had such a great time diving with you over the five days we were in Hurghada.  We loved all of our 11 dives with you including the amazing night dive (with Nasser).  It was fantastic playing with the Nemo fish, seeing lion fish, moray eels, blue spotted stingray puffer fish, swimming with great shoals of fish, colourful coral and seeing the sleeping turtle at night.  Our diving video was great - please thank the videographer for us.

We'll never forget our time with you.  Your boat was a great place to enjoy the sea, the food was lovely, your staff were a great laugh and well trained, your equipment was excellent, your prices were good, and of course you were a great instructor (Nasser too - I guess!).  I'd recommend anyone visiting Hurghada to dive with you - you made our diving holiday what it was - a fantastic and unforgettable experience!  We hope that sometime in the future we'll be able to return to Hurghada to dive with you.

I came down with a group of friends to enjoy the diving in the red sea. Funny Divers helped us with everything, they booked the hotel for us, made sure we had everything we needed and more. Funy divers were humorous and always happy. I very much appreciate all your efforts guys.

I have very much enjoyed my 2 days of diving with Funny Divers.  I chose it because it was close to my hotel, convenient and reasonably priced, but I got more than I expected.  The dive guides were , the entire staff were friendly, and the service was great. Ahmed was extremely helpful and made everything easy for me. 

The equipment was fine, and I never felt rushed.  Since I was traveling alone without my husband, and had not dived in 6 months, I appreciated the patience shown to me on my first dive. 

The boat  used by Happy Divers is large and comfortable, with nice toilets and lots of good seating.   We enjoyed excellent meals each day we were out, and the sites to which we were taken were good. I have been diving for many years, so I think I can say that the sites were appropriate and lovely. I would certainly recommend Happy Divers to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable dive experience in Hurghada.  Happy Divers gives real value for money and is an excellent company.

Wir haben hier einen Tollen Schnorchelausflug und einen mindest genau so tollen Tauchausflug gemacht. Nasser war unser Instructor und ist uns bei den Einzeltauchgaengen nicht von der Seite gewichen. Wir fuehlten uns immer sicher mit ihm als Instructor. Das hat schon vor dem Tauchen mit der ausfuehrlichen Einweisung begonnen. Das Boot, die Schule und natuerlich auch die ganze Crew von Funny Divers ist extra Klasse, mit tollem Service fuer gutes Geld. Egal wo in Hugharda wir den naechsten Urlaub verbringen, unsere Tauchschule steht jetzt schon fest und wir koennen die Schule jedem mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Das essen an Bord ist zwar einfach aber lecker und macht gegen alle Befuerchtungen nicht Krank.

Funny Divers er absolut anbefalelsevaerdige, saerligt naar man har et lavt budget. De soergede for et billigt hotel, og alt hvad jeg havde brug for i loebet af dagen - og det kostede naesten ingenting. Morgenmaden fik jeg paa hotellet og middagsmaden paa baaden, derfor er det kun noedvendigt med et par haandoerer til aftensmaden og eventuelle souvenirs. Derudover lever saerligt Naser op til centerets navn, idet han hele tiden er i hoejt humoer og med paa loejer - ogsaa under vandet. Hvis du oensker en god og billig tur til Roede havet er Funny Divers et godt valg.

Hallo allemaal

Als je van plan bent in Egypte (Hurghada) te gaan duiken is funny divers een hele goede duikschool. De prijzen zijn goed, en de instructeurs nemen alle tijd alles duidelijk te maken. De excursies zijn goed verzorgt, er is genoeg drinken aan boord en het eten is lekker. Je zal je verbazen overwat je allemaal te zien zal krijgen, zo hebben wij tussen de dolfijnen kunnen duiken.

kortom ben je van plan in Hurghada te gaan duiken, ga naar Funny Divers! Wij zijn in ieder geval van plan weer terug te komen.

Hej kommende dykkere

Ahmed, Nasser og resten af crewet har vaeret med til at give os en fantastisk spaendende dag her i egypten. For folk der aldrig har dykket foer er det en sikker og behagelig oplevelse, hvor man virkelig foeler der er styr paa alt ned til mindste detalje. Maden var super god og instruktoererne var utrolig professionelle, hjaelpsomme og ikke mindst talmodige med os novicer :)

Ahmed, Nasser en crew, hartstikke bedankt voor de mooie tijd! We hebben een goede tijd zowel boven als onderwater gehad! Deze 5 dagen waren voor ons eigenlijk nog lang niet genoeg, helaas hebben we niet meer tijd! Onderwater wordt je goed begeleid en goed geattendeerd op alle bezienswaardigheden (o.a. schildpadden, roggen, stonefish, lionfish en vele andere mooie vissen en koraal). Boven water is het heerlijk vertoeven met een goede lunch, een hoop gezelligheid en een lekker windje om lekker in de zon te liggen!

Salutare Ahmed,

Nu ma asteptam sa ma simt atat de bine in Egipt. Au fost 4 zile de scufundari incredibile, cate 2 locatii geniale pe zi. Cred ca era nevoie sa ma uit trei zile la National Geographic sa vad atatea lucruri cate am vazut intr-o ora de scufundari in Marea Rosie. Echipa Funny Divers m-a facut sa ma simt ca acasa iar mancarea pe barca a fost mai buna decat cea de la hotelul de 5 stele la care am fost cazati.

Thank you Ahmed and the whole Funny Divers crew for a brilliant experience in Egipt. I will come back, as soon as possible

Salut Ahmed,

Multumesc pentru o vacanta incredibila. Primele 2 intro diveuri au fost nemaipomenite iar pentru cele de la open water nu am cuvinte. Am vazut lucruri si animale pe care nu credeam ca o sa le vad vreodata (numai la Discovery Channel poate). Mincarea de pe barca a fost mai buna decat cea de la hotel (multumiri bucatarului Sultan). Atmosfera de pe barca a fost minunata. O sa revin in Egipt si bineinteles la cei de la Funny Divers.

Hi Achmed & Nasser,

We hebben weer 3 heerlijke duikdagen gehad met het Funny Divers Team. Erg fijn dat we jullie twee jaar geleden hebben leren kennen. Ik ben blij dat ik mijn Padi bij jullie heb mogen halen destijds. We kunnen iedereen aanraden om met Funny Divers te gaan duiken. Heb me af en toe wat onzeker gevoeld, omdat het zo'n tijd geleden was, maar zowel Achmed als Nasser zijn daar zeer goed mee omgegaan. Ze hebben me m'n vertrouwen terug laten winnen. Op de boot is het altijd heerlijk. Prima eten, lekker rusttijd tussen de 2 duiken door en je hebt echt een optimaal vakantiegevoel! Mochten we weer in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker weer met jullie duiken.

I got my OWD and AOWD diving license at Funny Divers in october 2008, so for two weeks, I had a lot of time spent with the Funny Divers team.
Ahmed is a great Instructor, very careful, and if you pay attention at what he teaches you, getting the diving license is easy and fun.
I've dived in a lot of spectacular places and for two weeks I can say I didn't dive twice in the same place. The food on the boat is great (Sultan is a great cook), and the crew was nice.
The boat is big enough and Ahmed is a fast sailor, he likes to race other boats, because he knews that has a bigger engine :D.
Red Sea is a wonderful place and if you choose the right diving center the experience can be extraordinary.
Next time when I'll go to dive in Hurghada I will return to Funny Divers because I had a great experience.
So if you go to Hurghada to dive, I reccomend Funny Divers for the very good prices and the nice people that work there.

first of all..thank you very much for that three days i have just spend with you. i'll tell you my story..
me and my family arrived to hurgada from Aswan at night to exactly el gouna.we wanted to dive the next day cause we only had three days of diving and the staff in the hotel told us we coludn´t do that cause there were packs of complete day only so we didn't caught it.next morning we took a bus to hurgada center where thanks to a nice boy seated in the shop carried us to the funny divers office.when we entered , told them we wanted to dive that afternoon..but the bout left in the morning as the rest. so Nasser told Hedar to come with us and take a little bout to take us to the big one and dive that afternoon!
next day they took us to swim with dolphins!and a bit confidentialy..when all my family went to the surface, me and other guy continued a bit more with Hedar and when we were making our decompression i will never forget that exotic dance with dolphins
more than dolphins or scorpion fish take a look to the most beautiful in red sea..hedar's green eyes

I just returned from a two-week diving holiday in Hurghada. I made 20 unforgettable dives with Funnydivers and explored the best reefs and wrecks in the area. The absolute highlights were the wreck of Thistlegorm and dives with dolphins, giant morays, Spanish dancers, turtles, snakes and all those beautiful fish… I can warmly recommend the Funnydivers for everyone! The guys have everything: excellent equipment, professional approach for diving as well as a great atmosphere and service taking into account diverse needs of different divers. :-)

I totally agree with Paivi from Finland!! I had my best diving experiance here with Funny Divers. Achmed and Nasser is very proffesionel and always with a smile on theire faces. They take you to the best dive sites. Thistelgorm was fantastic!! The equipment is tip-top shape and the boats very nice, also the staff on the divecenter. "Rambo" is a great guy!! Dear Ahmed eand Nasser,

I'm Pascal De Corte from Belgium. I've been diving with you in juin this year, together with my buddy Johan. The pictures of the whaleshark at your site are his, so maybe you remenber it.

I've been in Egypte from 4th till 19th October in Sharm, and there I've been diving with African Divers. So now I can compare. And diving with you was far better. Here in Belgium everybody told that Sharm was a lot better to dive than Hurghada, and I must agree. There are more coral reefs and they are larger. But diving in Sharm is very expensive and the quality of the dive guides are nothing compared with you two.

In Sharm we have been diving in groups up to 16 divers with one guide !! And they can hardly find any hidden animals. Also security seems not important to them.

So keep up like you are doing and you will get there. I know now that when I come back to Egypte, it will be with you. during my stay I've also made some advertisement for your center and I hope some of them will come to your club. Also in Belgium I give people your address with only positive comment.

At last I send tou the URL of an important site for Belgium divers www.duiken.be . At this site you can find most of the dive clubs in Flanders, look at their site for the email address and send them a mail with information of your club and price offers for day trips and for liveaboards. they will not book anything immediately, but after that they will know your club and in the future ask more information.

We lived in Egypt for three years and have been diving with Funny Divers for all this period. After a bad experience with another dive school in Hurghada we came to them and stayed with them!

we did a lot of daily dives, and a liveaboard safari to the northern reefs and the wrecks (THirstlegorm).

NAsser and Ahmed have become good friends and we will miss them now we are moving back to Holland. We can recommend them to everyone who wants to see the wonderfull underwaterworld of the Red Sea.

They are simply the best!

15 times already was i diving in Hurghada. This time was the most wonderfull diving holiday, thanks to the professionalisme of the Funny Divers. The little diving instructor Nasser nows al the good diving places, where there is no tourist overpopulation. And more... he attracts sharks ! The last day, he stayed up to look for dolfins and then he sent them down to us at 14 meters. 10 dolfins played with us divers for a little time. If you ever going to dive in urghada, DIVE FUNNY DIVERS ! You will thank me for it after. Greatings to Nasser and ahmed from Jan and Karin.
