Ten minutes south-eastern from TobiaIsland and just 30 minutes away from Safaga you will find a big rectangular reef with a chain of three ergs which are extend to south-west. The west-side is like a lagoon in around 5 – 7 m and not very nice. The east-side is like a terrace going down to 15 m and because of the light current over here you will see a lot of colors. The berth is good protected from the sea and here you just have a light current coming from the north.

Swim through the channel, which is easy to find, between the ergs and the main reef to the north direction. Come back with enough air to visit the ergs which are in the south direction. While you are doing this you have to stay on the side which is open to the sea because she is more beautiful and you will find more life over here.

You will find different kinds of trigger fish, redtooth trigger fish, halfmoon triggerf ish, giant trigger fish- and arabian Picasso fish. Abudjubbe’s wrasse, broomtail wrasse and sling-jaw wrasse are very often here. With her beautiful colors they give every boring dive the necessary color. In the summer dolphins are visiting this dive site very often.
