Aruk Abu Nugar is located in the east-west direction in the north of Hurghada, about 1 ¾ hours far by boat, east from Umm Gamar Island. This is one dive site which is very far away in the north of Hurghada. These reef is located in east-west direction. The wind is coming from north and also the current an this dive site. Most of the time the visibility here is not very good.

Start your dive at the mooring in 12 meter, beside the two blocks. Take the reef on your right shoulder till the west end. From there you will see a few smaller blocks in 10 meter. You can go around the blocks. A little bit more north you will find a lot of table corals.

A lot of different kinds of corals you can find here. At the second of the smaller ergs you will find a cave, the others are overhanging, there you can find Groupers. The best dive site is in southeast of the two main blocks in 14 meter depth.
